Welcome to Volume 92

The school year is in full swing and the staff of Tulane Law Review Volume 92 is hard at work on this year's upcoming Issues. This year's staff is comprised of 50 talented members working to continue the Review's legacy of top legal scholarship.

Taking over as the Review’s Editor in Chief is Annie Hundley. She grew up in Mowata, Louisiana, and received a degree in journalism from Louisiana State University. Annie worked as a digital art director at a political consulting firm in New York for four years before attending law school. After graduation, she will clerk for the Hon. Judge James L. Dennis at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans.

Leigh B. Ackal, a Lafayette, LA native, serves as Volume 92’s Senior Managing Editor. After receiving her Bachelor of Art’s degree from Tulane, she went on to receive a Master’s of Education from Smith College and a Master’s of Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology from University College London. Before law school, Leigh taught children with hearing loss at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After graduation, she will join Gieger, Laborde, and Laperouse in New Orleans as an associate.

The Managing Editors for Volume 92 are Andrew M. Blasio, Clerc H. Cooper, Marjorie P. Dennard, Christopher A. Hebert, Hillarie James, Leslie M. LaCoste, Sara Gail Prudenti, Melissa H. Redmon and Thomas Steinfeldt. Jordan M. Leon is the Volume’s Research Editor.

Coleman L. Torrans is spearheading the article selection process for Volume 92 as Senior Articles Editor. Coleman is a native of Fairhope, Alabama and graduated from Tulane University in 2014. His comment on cell site simulators and the secret invasion of privacy will be published in Issue 2 of Volume 92.

Alice B. Billmire, Margaret W. McLauglin, Colleen Murphy, and Peter L. Rogers, Jr.  work with Coleman as Articles Editors.

Alexandra N. Phillips holds the title of the volume’s Senior Notes and Comments Editor.   Alexandra received her Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2013.  She currently serves as judicial extern to the Honorable James L. Dennis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and intends to pursue her legal career in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Volume 92’s Notes and Comments Editors include Madeline R. Flores, Samantha A. Oppenheim and Phillip L. Turpin.

Collin S. Buisson serves as Volume 92's Senior Associate Editor. Collin is a lifelong New Orleanian who received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business. He served as a judicial extern to Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Greg G. Guidry and currently serves as an extern to Judge Lance M. Africk of the Eastern District of Louisiana. Upon graduating and passing the bar, he will join Phelps Dunbar LLP's Business Group in the firm's New Orleans office.

Brian G. Broussard is Volume 92’s Associate Editor. Sarah Smith-Clevenger will serve as the Volume’s Symposium Editor, and Jody Schisel-Meslin will serve as the Online Editor.

Junior Members of Volume 92 include Patrick M. Bollman, Garrett S. Eggen, Charles Flanders, Miles S. Fortenberry, Oliver Atticus Kaufman, Luke G. LaHaye, Sara Lynn Levy, Kathleen M. McCarte, Ryan D. McNamara, Anais M. Jaccard, Erin M. Morrissey, Ryan P. Niedermair, Jansen T. Owen, Michelle Pichardo, Jacob J. Pritt, Jonah Seligman, Olivia J. Sher, Jessica Sherman, Michelle Maguire Sloss, Julianne M. Weidman, Madeline Weisblatt, Emily Werkmann, Taylor K. Wimberly, and Gabriel Winsberg.

Professor Ronald J. Scalise, a staff member of the Review for Volumes 73 and 74, continues to serve as the Review’s Faculty Advisor. Kristy S. Christiansen will facilitate publication of the Review as Publication Supervisor, with Sarah Eastly serving as a Project Assistant. Samantha Foster will handle the Review’s finances as the Financial Services Specialist.
