Proceedings of the Degree Ceremony: The Honorable John R. Brown, Doctor of Laws

On December 6, 1979, the Honorable John Robert Brown, Chief Judge of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws from the Tulane University School of Law. The conferral of this degree coincided with Judge Brown's retirement as Chief Judge.

In recognition of that honor, and in celebration of Judge Brown's career as Chief Judge, the Board of Student Editors of the Tulane Law Review is pleased to publish the proceedings of the degree ceremony.
