Maisie Sajbel
Maisie Sajbel is the Editor-in-Chief of Volume 101. She is originally from Austin, Texas, and received her bachelor's in Human Development from the University of Texas at Austin. Following both her first and second years of law school, Maisie was a summer associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice at Jackson Walker in Austin, Texas. In addition to serving as this year's Editor-in-Chief, Maisie is an intern to the Honorable Dana M. Douglas at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. After graduation, she will clerk for the Honorable Orelia E. Merchant at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Emile Garon
Emile Garon serves as the Senior Managing Editor of Volume 101. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan. Following his first year of law school, Emile was a summer associate at Phelps Dunbar and Irwin Fritchie, both in New Orleans. This past summer, Emile worked in New Orleans as a summer associate at Jones Walker and Phelps Dunbar. After graduation, he will clerk for Tulane Law Review alumnus Judge Barry Ashe at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Sascha Leidecker
Sascha serves as the Senior Articles Editor for Volume 101. She is from Hailey, Idaho. Sascha received her B.A. in international studies from Middlebury College in Vermont. During her 1L summer, Sascha externed for Judge Ned C. Williamson of the 5th District of Idaho. Last summer, she worked as a Summer Associate for Haynes and Boone in Dallas. She will return to Haynes and Boone to join its Business Litigation group after graduation. Sascha’s comment, “Beyond ‘Presumptively Lawful:’ Reimagining Vincent v. Bondi as a Case Study for Restoring Second Amendment Rights to Non-Violent Felons” will be published in Volume 101 of the Tulane Law Review.
Tara Nored
Tara Nored is the Senior Notes and Comments Editor for Volume 101. She is originally from San Antonio and Houston, Texas. Tara graduated in 2022 from Tulane University with a B.A. in International Development, and went on to earn a Masters of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) from Relay Graduate School as part of the KIPP New Orleans Teacher Residency Program. She also taught English and served as a college counselor for two years as part of that program. For the past two summers, Tara worked at Barrasso Usdin LLC. She plans to return as an associate at Barrasso in 2028, following a clerkship with Chief Judge Wendy Vitter at the Eastern District of Louisiana. Her case note, "The Good Samaritans of Oil and Gas: The Applicability of Negotiorum Gestio to Louisiana Revised Statutes § 30:10(A)(3)" was published in Volume 100 of the Tulane Law Review, and her comment, "From Temperance to Trade Barrier: Why Granholm Should Reach the Retail Tier of Wine Sales" will be published in Volume 101.
Daiana Lilo
Daiana Lilo serves as the Diversity & Managing Editor for Volume 101. She is from Waterbury, Connecticut and graduated from Harvard University in 2022 with a B.A. in Government. Before law school Daiana was a paralegal at a boutique litigation firm in New York City. Following her first year of law school, she was a summer associate at Pullman & Comley in Connecticut. This past summer, Daiana was a summer associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Washington, D.C. After graduation, she will return as an associate at Akin in D.C. Her Comment "Bruen Behind Bars: Applying the Historical Analogue Methodology to Thirteenth Amendment Prison Claims at Angola State Penitentiary” will be published in Volume 101 of the Tulane Law Review.
Ellie Vidmar
Ellie Vidmar is the Senior Associate Editor of Volume 101. She is from Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Boston University, graduating with a double major in political science and philosophy. After college, she worked for five years as a litigation paralegal. Following her first year of law school, Ellie worked in the D.C. Office of the Attorney General in the antitrust and nonprofit division. This past summer, she was a summer associate at Ropes & Gray in New York. After graduation, Ellie will clerk for the Hon. Susie Morgan at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
