On January 1, 1991, Act 990 of 1990 on Ownership in Indivision went into effect. Act 990, hereinafter referred to as β€œthe Act,” adds a new Title consisting of twenty-two new articles to Book II of the Louisiana Civil Code. This paper discusses the first twelve of these articles.
